2013

STORYTELLING- commissioned by Abbotsford House Trust to design and deliver a 3 day storytelling, art and story-making project for Tweedbank Primary school. This transition project linked Abbotsford’s grounds, Scott’s work, and tree folklore.

Commissioned by Abbotsford House Trust to develop a new, Regency -Era storytelling character. ‘Mrs Oakley’ will deliver storytelling and art workshops for educational visits to Sir Walter Scott’s Home and collection.

  •  Art: working for forthcoming solo show in Edinburgh.

  • Public Sculpture, ’Souvenir of Tomorrow’ site-specific monumental work created during two summers invitation to the International Stone Sculpture Symposium, Villanyi, Hungary. ( approx. 2.3m.h, 10m diameter, 60 tonnes) Travel funded by British Council.
  • Fire and music spectacle created for closing of Symposium. Joint prize winner.
  • Freelance stone carving and restoration.
  • Props for Natural Theatre co. ,Bath.
  • Teaching: stone carving workshops at ‘Changing Places’ and ‘Access‘, Bristol.
